Vertical integration

With its subsidiaries, Alda Seafood is a vertically integrated company that operates a fleet of fishing vessels, processing facilities, and sales offices in Europe and North America. As an investment company, Alda Seafood does not sell any products directly to consumers.

Companies in the group produce high-quality seafood products for the global market, where most of the products are sold in Europe and Asia. Our companies mainly catch, process and sell cod, haddock, saithe, redfish, Greenland halibut, and shrimp.

Emphasis on frozen at sea products

Alda Seafood controls a substantial portion of its supply chain. The majority of fish caught by vessels operated by companies within the group are frozen at sea. These companies utilise technologically advanced vessels equipped with onboard factories, where production often involves a high degree of automation. If seafood products are not processed and frozen at sea, they are delivered fresh to production facilities.
